Hell and Heaven Moéltdown

I’ve pretty much concluded that about pages are useless, because approximately two weeks after one is written, enough things will happen to render all the facts on the page outdated.
And it seems like a silly effort to keep this up when, instead of reading this page and trying to imagine who I was at the time I wrote this, you could be talking to me instead, or maybe inferring from my posts, and somehow actively learning who I am. I figure you care somewhat about that, if you’re on this page.
I could tell you, in general terms, that I tend to like a lot of ren’ai-style and visual novel anime, and certain people could tell you that I have more than a slight penchant for girls in glasses and girls named Shiori Misaka, but wouldn’t you rather learn more than that some other way? Anibloggers are people too.
So, if you want to know who I am, let my writing speak for me.
My actual posts, not just this 200-word brief banged out one weekend morning. Or, if you’re ever interested in a chat for some reason or other, you can find me on a lot of anime-related channels on IRC, mostly on the Rizon server. #dasaku is a natural one, considering that’s where I’m hosted. Or, try @Canon2D on Twitter.
Oh, and if you’re here to wonder about the background of the site, it was started in 2007 after realizing anime gave me strange feelings and thoughts, which can only be expressed in loosely-connected essays of longer than 1000 words in length (typically).
Here, is where I express those feelings.
My online handle is CCY (except when it’s Canon), and I hope we get along together.

Hi CCY, love the blog. Is there any way to contact you via email? I looked around and couldn’t find it – maybe I’m just being blind though!

Invalid browser detection!
And you only suggest one alternative, whereas Opera and some other stuff should probably be there (Safari?)
I’m using IE9 or whatever’s packed with Win7 and sure enough, your page whinges in red atop all else about my having old and buggy browser stuff. It’s 2 months too early to call this that (plus the patches are all current.)
I’m interested in seeing ep. 12 of Mission-E subbed and thrown into appropriate .mkv packaging too. Did someone license it yet?

Hi, i really did your blog, i’d be happy to have my project listed here.
I’ve created an online archive for anime and manga quotes ( around 550 so far) for anime fans who enjoy that sort of thing.
I think your readers would find a post about anime and manga quotes interesting, if you’re interested, hit me back.
